Day 9 out of Joplin Area , finally !

75 miles to Springfield and a few more to BASS PRO SHOP . I got a break from the rain but the wind was still strong I felt great and rode hard for 55 miles, off the side of I-44 I spotted a cool little pond and a good place to set up camp. Slept good but no fish in the pond ; looks like another MRE dinner . I want to thank my daughter, Alysia , For calling me every day . She really makes my day. I also want to thank my wife for always being there for me . She helps me get thought the toughest days and I sure miss her .
